Miner Guide: Complete Workflow

1. Register and set up your account

1. Sign up and select the Miner role.
2. Enter company details and upload your business licence.
3. Verify your email (check spam if it doesn't arrive).
4. Wait for administrator verification — you receive an email when approved.

2. Create a new shipment

1. From the Miner dashboard, click Add new shipment.
2. Select the mineral type (lithium, cobalt, graphite, rare earth, nickel, copper).
3. Enter weight in tonnes and the mine location (site name).
4. Select the province and pick the extraction date.
5. Enter your CO₂ estimate.
6. Click Create shipment.

• A unique batch code is generated.
• A QR label is created automatically — print it and attach it to the container.
• Status becomes Extracted.

3. Post an offer

1. Open Marketplace in the sidebar.
2. Click Post offer.
3. Enter mineral type, quantity in tonnes, and quality specifications (purity, grade).
4. Enter the delivery location and timeline.
5. Set a minimum price per tonne.
6. Click Post offer — it goes live with status Open and is visible to buyers.

4. Manage bids and contracts

1. Open your offer and review incoming bids: bidder, price per tonne, total, timeline, processing location.
2. Click Accept on the winning bid — a draft contract is generated automatically.
3. Open Contracts, review the terms, and click Sign.
4. Once both parties sign, the contract shows Fully signed and can be downloaded as PDF.

5. Track your shipments

My shipments lists every batch with mineral type, weight, status, extraction date, and actions.

• Open a shipment for full detail: QR code, status badge, immutable audit trail, and attached documents.
• Status flows Extracted → Received by processor → Refined → Received by manufacturer → Manufactured → Delivered.

6. Logistics tracking

• Open Logistics to see the assigned transporter, vehicle, and driver.
• Follow live GPS position on the map and the current ETA.
• Review proof of delivery — signature, photos, and GPS stamp — once the batch arrives.

Common issues

• No Add new shipment button — your account isn't approved yet.
• QR code not generating — refresh the page and confirm every required field was filled.
• No bids on an offer — check that your minimum price and timeline are realistic, and that the offer hasn't expired.
