Change your password
Email/password users can change their password in Settings → Security. Google users manage this in their Google account.
Why we sometimes ask you to re-authenticate
Sensitive actions (like deleting your account) require a fresh sign-in within the last 5 minutes. This prevents an attacker with a stale session from doing irreversible damage.
